The games are pretty dubious when it comes to lore and that's a huge reason why FNAF is so big. There's so much room for people to theorize where a game takes place in the timeline and how the events/info in the game affect the previously established lore. In comparison to the Sonic comics the FNAF comics seem much worse as an introduction to the series.

The Silver Eyes trilogy is in its own universe. Tales of the Pizzaplex aren't canon to the games, but do share stuff. And with Fazbear Frights it's ambiguous, but stories from the books are being adapted to the games with stuff like Into the Pit and Fetch
