Luke Black merges theatricality and melancholy into striking,
genre-bending art-pop. Born in Serbia and now based in London,
he crafts immersive sonic worlds that are equal parts emotional
catharsis and digital dreamscape.
His debut album Chainsaws in Paradise (May 2024) is a raw and
surreal reflection on both personal and global unrest, wrapped
in haunting melodies and conceptual aesthetics. The record
followed his breakout moment as Serbia’s representative at
Eurovision 2023, where Samo mi se spava introduced a global
audience to his surrealist vision. Acclaim from NME, BBC, and
the New York Times soon followed, recognising him as a standout
figure in the alt-pop underground.
Luke’s performances feel more like digital operas than concerts
— unpredictable, visually arresting, and emotionally charged.
