Her story is unlike many an aspiring artist told time and time again. She is not the daughter of a Preacher who cut her teeth on hymnals in the church; she was not a winner of a national talent competition, nor was she surrounded by musicians as a family tradition. A self-proclaimed closet singer until her early teens, Lindsey practiced her performance on the family's karaoke machine behind closed doors and in secret, unbeknownst to family and friends.
