The day carries its weight like soaked clouds, I move slowly through a world without footing. A mirror no longer reflects the past, only the present — mercilessly sharp, inescapable.
Sounds echo but never sink in, as if even the world has pressed pause. Silence whispers where voices fall still, and each breath holds an unanswered longing.
I gather thoughts in an inaudible rhythm, for even thinking seems to hide from the now. Yet in that silence, as painful as it is, there is space — to feel, to be.
No fleeing, no forgetting. Only being. In the now. In myself.
