Description
From my first encounter with the King of Instruments in 1966, I have had a passion for the organ and its music. I started with piano lessons at school and eventually progressed to the organ (the Chapel possessed a magnificent three manual Walker instrument of cathedral proportions!).
On Christmas Eve in 1976, I received a call asking if I would play for Midnight Mass at a local Parish Church and the following day, I was invited to become the new organist (a post I held during my four years at university).
During my professional life, I had little time and opportunity to play, but shortly after retirement, I purchased a Viscount Chorum S40 instrument. Looking through my collection of music that had been packed away for many years, I discovered 'compositions' I had written in my teenage years and so my exploration of what music I could create began again. The Covid pandemic led me to YouTube and I have been uploading my composition ever since.
Please enjoy - and thanks for watching!
