History, soldiers, diets, inedible food, and cooking! Welcome to Feeding Under Fire presented by Dr Simon Harold Walker, a Military Medical historian and Historical Suicidologist at the University of Strathclyde. Each episode considers a different aspect of WW1 soldier's diet and tells stories of the men who ate the food as I prepare, cook and feed yummy trench food to my often reluctant special guests.
