Description

O8ride returned to two wheels after a 20 year absence on a Piaggio Fly 100 in January 2013. Three months later, bought a new Piaggio Fly 125, took his test that summer, and bought an old v-twin Yamaha Virago in Spring 2014. The 125 was replaced by a Vespa GTV 300 ie Via Monte Napoleone in Winter 2014. May 2015 saw the arrival of a Honda CB500X, the sale of both the Virago and the Vespa, and a new chapter started.

Biking around Yorkshire is very different to biking around London. Commuting 15 miles from one town to another, involving a lot of filtering and very little overtaking, is very different from going out for a ride in the countryside, mixing up A-roads with country lanes.

The roads are more open and traffic density can vary.

And the antics of some of my fellow drivers - or maybe just my mood - sometimes leads to bad language on my part.
