I call this channel "Gnosis." It's a space for people on the margins of traditional religion in and outside of the academy to find both scholarly knowledge and spiritual meaning. By training, I'm a scholar of ancient Mediterranean religions with a focus on early Christianity. In 2013, I received my Ph.D. from the Religious Studies department at the University of Virginia (UVA). Prior to that, I received an M.Div at Emory University and a Th.M. at Duke University.
