Why stop at $750 billion valuation? They're shooting for $1+ trillion valuation.

This kind of open fraud is what you expect from a Banana Republic. Would anyone like to try to dispute that the US is nothing but a Banana Republic?? Go ahead argue that our pirating on the high-seas is a legitimate government action??

"There's gotta be limits." In the 19th century, P.T. Barnum (allegedly) said "There's a sucker born every minute." Now in the 21st century, there is literally a sucker born every microsecond. Particularly when it comes to venture capital investing -- I'm not seeing any limits to the gullibility.

What I think is funny is that I asked AI to explain to me how AI works in detail ... and from a mathematical and software stack perspective, I get it ... BUT ... it still has immense limitation, and I discussed this with the AI from a philosophical perspective, and it even agreed with me on its limitations ... AND WHAT ASTOUNDS ME ... is that the idiots running OpenAI agreed to take $6M from the Israelis to bias the model in their favour, but as anyone who understands the maths behind it understands, you cannot corrupt one part of the model without in some way corrupting the entire model ... so they just destroyed their multibillion investment for the pittance of $6M to appease a bunch of neurotic genocidal psychopaths

I just read a report that a lab in China tested a first working prototype of a EUV machine and they target chip production by 2028....When will the "west" realize that we're already falling behind, we prioritize financial markets while they seem to be more focused on actual production

I am an IT guy and the AI thing is getting out of hand. AI is supposed to make life better n Not replace human interaction/help. I get frustrated when I am interacting with AI customer support

I think that the model providers will be the ones who get squeezed, and the people who own the hardware will be ones who can define cost of access. There is a ton of competition between the model creations, and the larger oss models are getting quite good. Then the unknown is how much better can future hardware get (and therefore depreciate current hardware). It would be interesting to see how much a for profit cost model would work for even just the hardware.

A movie in the earlier 70's called The Sting. Great actors and plot. I believe it was conmen ripping off conmen, or criminals ripping off criminals. Of course with the help of the law makers. Sounds familiar.
