AKila K. is an up-and-coming Hip Hop/R&B artist from New York. Growing up in Brooklyn but currently living in Long Island, AKila K. has been exposed to both urban and suburban life. Getting the "best of both worlds" has allowed her to view art and life experiences through different angles to better express it in her music. Among those instruments are the piano, drums, and the steelpan (a Caribbean instrument originating in Trinidad & Tobago).
