Logan Bishop

Description

Logan Ray Bishop is an artist, educator, printmaker, and poet from Clearwater, Florida residing in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. Logan’s work has been supported by United States Artists, the National Society of Arts and Letters, the Southern Graphics Council International 2024 Graduate Student Fellowship, and the 2024 Joan and George Cole MFA Award. Bishop is a printmaking assistant at Milestone Graphics in New Haven, CT for Tamarind Trained Collaborative Master Printer Irene Michnicki. Bishop also works with the Prison Arts Program, managed by Jeffrey Greene, assisting with installation and warehouse management. In addition to that, Bishop has had experience doing bedside art with cancer and dementia patients through Hartford Healthcare’s Art for Healing Artist Residency Program. He is an active educator, with an Adjunct Professor role at Holyoke Community College and CT State Community College Manchester. He received his MFA at UConn in 2024 and his BFA from USF in 2020.
