Hey there, I’m Shanon, writing under the pen name S.D. Huston, and I'm so excited to be here as I embark on a journey to self-publishing my first book. Military war veteran of seven years, once college professor of English and Literature, previous Writing Coach, and today a full time author while continuing my role as a mom and wife, and perpetuating my teaching here on YouTube.

I'm a fantasy romance and YA fantasy author with a passion for writing about broken characters who face adversity to become a better version of themselves. And there may or may not be Dragons, but there's always love to find ;)
