The Oak Park Model Train Clubs (also known as OPSME) Official Youtube Channel. This channel is a model railroad club located in the Dole Center of Oak Park, Illinois. This club has been here since 1964. We have over 90 members ranging from kids to senior citizens. We are an HO scale train club modeling the CGWRR from Oak Park to Iowa in 1955. Every year, we hold 2 open houses 1st Saturday in May and 1st Saturday in November where people of all ages can visit the club, run trains, meet our members, and see the progress of the layout. We also do outside events such as The All American Railroad Show at LTHS in late March, Oak Parks Day in the Village 1st Sunday in June, The Riverside Holiday Stroll 1st Friday in December.
Clubroom Hours:
2nd, 4th, and 5th Monday nights of each month from 7-9 PM Work on the layout night
Wednesdays nights from 7-9 PM Train Running Session
Fridays Afternoons from 1-3 PM Seniors Train Running Session
Sundays Afternoons from 1-3 PM Train Running Session
