Description
This is the Official YouTube Channel of The Media Ecology Association (MEA). The Media Ecology Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the study, research, criticism, and application of media ecology in educational, industry, political, civic, social, cultural, and artistic contexts, and the open exchange of ideas, information, and research among the Association’s members.
On September 4, 1998, five of Neil Postman’s former students—Susan B. Barnes, Thomas F. Gencarelli, Paul Levinson, Casey Man Kong Lum, and Lance Strate—gathered at Fordham University and formed the Media Ecology Association. The organization continues to promote media ecology via our annual convention, held in June, and our scholarly journal "Explorations in Media Ecology." Join MEA today!
