As the first Congregational church in the Dakota Territory – we celebrated our 150th Anniversary in 2018! Now a part of the United Church of Christ, we call ourselves the United Church of Christ (Congregational). No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here! We are an Open & Affirming church, accepting all different people, willing to share in discussion, and we enjoy each other’s company. So, come as you are, to the Yankton United Church of Christ (Congregational). All are truly welcome. We strive to provide opportunities for seekers of all ages, to strengthen their faith and expand their knowledge of God through Bible studies, group discussion, self-reflection, excellent worship and preaching, and our walk with each other as we discover God’s plan for us and for our ministry and work hard to serve an ever-changing society, here at home and around the world.
