Description
Gardening & lifestyle for the thinker. TAG, you've got next!
My garden is my place of peace - where I can go, grow & feed my family - & this channel is to chronicle our journey towards becoming self-sustaining. Not only for us, but with hope that you'll be inspired to do the same!
I practice no-dig gardening with underlying square foot gardening methods, while also beginning to incorporate permaculture principles. I believe that we often view native / wild plants as weeds instead of examining their original intent - their purpose, so to speak. Thus, I'm learning how to observe, listen, and incorporate what I've learned about plants as food and medicine; foraging, as some would call it. Eventually, I'd love to turn all of our land into a food forest/homestead, but that is a ways off.
