Francis is, unlike his 1p!Self, the most uncharming and unromantic person ever. He is rather grumpy and bored, and he just appears to be bad-tempered all the time. He doesn't know anything about love. That feeling just annoys him and he thinks it is unnecessary. He gets already angry if he only hears the word ''love''. That is why he calls himself the country of hate. He doesn't take much care of his appearance, he is more of a scruffy and obnoxious person.
He became such a person because of his terrible childhood. He was always lonely and had no friends. He had to spend all of his time alone while every other country had a friend. Yet, Francis doesn't like to talk about his childhood.
