The Sonic Underground Revival Project
Description
Welcome to Sonic Underground Revival!
This project is dedicated to rebooting Sonic Underground and creating a new series, mixing new material as well as story beats from the original show to tell a more emotional story in the style of anime using the same characters.
Our goal is to lean more into the musical aspect as well, remaking all of the songs in classic Japanese rock and pop styles while also taking inspiration from Sonic Team composers Jun Senoue and Tomoya Ohtani.
The show will focus on the musical aspect as well, re-imagining Sonic Underground as a proper rock/punk band in-universe and giving them more realistic instruments, as well as fitting their playing styles to their personalities in a way.
One of our future plans is to have our voice actors, who are all incredibly musically talented in one way or another, to perform our versions of the Sonic Underground songs as a live band and perform live shows in-character.
