Rural Veterinary Experience Teaching & Service (RVETS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2010. RVETS is dedicated to improving the welfare of working equids while strengthening the communities who depend on them for their livelihoods.
Through integrated field clinics, veterinary education, and community collaboration, RVETS provides meaningful service where access to equine veterinary care is limited. Our work bridges compassionate animal care with practical, real-world training for future veterinarians.
RVETS provides field-based veterinary services focused on preventive care, humane treatment, and sustainable equine health practices. Our programs address the needs of working horses, donkeys, and mules that play an essential role in rural economies.
By working directly within underserved communities, RVETS delivers care that supports both animal welfare and the families who rely on these animals every day.
