Die letzte Botschaft der Delphine wurde als der kunstfertige Versuch missverstanden, einen doppelten Salto durch einen Reifen zu vollführen und dabei "Heil dir, ihm Siegerkranz" zu flöten. In Wirklichkeit aber hieß die Botschaft: Machts gut und danke für den vielen Fisch.
