The Web.Files is an award-winning, 51-episode web series made in 2009/2010.
A decade ago, online shows were being produced in ever-increasing numbers, but many people had never heard of a web series before, and they could be difficult to find online. Out of this need for information, The Web.Files was created by series host Kristyn Burtt. Her partner, Sandra Payne, produced and directed it.
On the forefront of this emerging wave of digital media, The Web.Files featured web series creators talking about their web series.
We are launching this campaign in order to create a special 10-episode series that will update 10 of our previous interviewees. We'll see where their journey has brought them since their first interview by us, and we'll also get their take on the current state of web series and the digital space. We’d also like to reach out to a few creators whom we tried to get back in 2009, but couldn’t land at the time.
