Philosophy Chemtrails (formerly Ordnance Lab), is about making complex philosophical, literary, cinematic, and similar cultural treasures more accessible to the average person.

The "chemtrails" is an inside joke in that the goal is that the philosophy and other intellectual content subtly slips into the videos.

The mascot of a Soviet ekranoplan, a "Ground Effect Vehicle" which can only "fly" by skimming the surface in ground effect, is a metaphor for humanity. This ekranoplan was loud, huge, and looked very impressive while it skims the surface of the water. But in reality, it was fairly useless. Humanity likes to fancy itself as a nimble fighter jet which can do all manner of things. But instead, it is much more like the ekranoplan: skimming just above the surface of a Hobbesian world.
