The Institute for Global Orthopaedics and Traumatology (IGOT) is an academic initiative founded in 2006 by the faculty and residents of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Our mission is to build capacity in musculoskeletal care through global partnerships. Our programs include educational webinars, an online portal, surgical courses, research, and leadership curriculum for orthopaedic surgeons globally, focusing on LMIC.
