Description

I am Phil Lehenbauer, a Florida organist, composer, and kayaker. 😎 Most of the works here have been composed or arranged by me. A majority of these pieces are based on hymns, as their primary use is for church music, but there are some secular works in the mix too. Many of my pieces are available for instant download at SheetMusicPlus.com and SheetMusicDirect.com, as well as other works published by Lorenz, Tim Knight, and Beauty In Sound.

I grew up in Ohio, attending The Ohio State University where I majored in Music Education, with an emphasis on trombone. My ensembles included the OSU Marching Band, Concert Band, Trombone Choir, and Symphonic Choir, among many others. After graduation, I spent 30 years as a public school band director, all in Ohio. My duties included concert bands, marching bands, jazz bands, and small ensembles at all levels. I've been a church organist since high school, serving churches in Ohio and now Florida.
