Jordon Hon 韓寶軒 (b. 1995) is a photographer and community organizer born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta with Hong Kong familial roots.
What interests Jordon the most right now is investigating and experimenting with the role that photography can play in supporting social movements and dismantling oppressive systems.
In this day and age where AI can generate imagery of almost anything and everything, how will the medium of photography and photographic evidence be affected? Jordon believes that this technology will push photographers and their audiences to prioritize story and human connection over simply the surface level aesthetics, and he welcomes this change with open arms and an open mind.
