Description

This story is set in 1970s Istanbul and follows the pursuit of justice by a determined prosecutor and a young journalist who firmly believes in the power of her words. It tells the tale of Orhan (Engin Altan Düzyatan) and Leyla (Burçin Terzioğlu), whose love swings between the vibrant neighborhood culture of the 70s and the dark underworld.

As they chase justice, we witness the story of a free-spirited, passionate, and hopeful young generation growing up in a country shaped by conflict, politics, love, and music—transforming from street gangs to organized crime, from rock to Arabic melodies, from villages to cities, and from cities to the birth of a new nation.
