The Retrospect

Description

Most of the big stories in the news today have happened before in some way. On this channel we take what's going on in the world right now and go back to the times something similar happened in the past.

When the US has its midterm elections, we look at past midterms that changed the country. When people take to the streets in France, we go back to earlier protests and see how they ended. When politics in Poland gets tense, we look at the moments in its history that felt the same.

The idea is simple. Knowing what happened last time makes it a lot easier to understand what's happening now.
