The Visual Misfit
For Mark Valino Video/Filmmaking is life. A multidisciplinary storyteller with a passion for cinema and over 15 years of experience in production and post-production for broadcast, documentary, digital, and independent media. Known for crafting visually compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, I bring an end-to-end skillset — from directing and cinematography to editing and content strategy. My work spans award-winning documentaries, music videos, VR/360 experiences, branded campaigns, interactive installations, and educational workshops.
Recent highlights include a Canadian Screen Award-winning documentary (Being Black in Toronto), international art exhibitions, and over 150 episodes of the long-running freestyle dance series Moments of Movement. With a strong foundation in storytelling, technical expertise, and community-focused content creation, I’m driven to explore new challenges and build stories that move people.
