I am a skeptic by nature and an attorney by trade who trains for raw powerlifting. Over the years, I have grown increasingly disturbed by the pseudoscience and misleading claims that run rampant in the fitness industry. Inspired by "Mystery Science Theater 3000" and "Penn & Teller's 'Bullshit,'" I decided in 2010 to commentate baseless and deceptive nutrition and exercise videos to educate the public about and vent my frustrations with the industry. This web show, "Exercises in Futility," has became a popular weekly YouTube satire.
