Derek’s “Music For Film” is the moniker given to his work within the film scoring world. Taking on projects for films, short films, video games and most notably, works within the movie trailer world. His work in trailer music and film scoring has brought a vast array of clients, both big and small.

Derek is also an established electronic music producer and DJ. Ranging in various genres from Trance to Deep House to progressive and more. Derek has been supported by some of the best and top acts in the industry including Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Paul Van Dyk, Ben Gold, ReOrder, Giuseppe Ottaviani and many more. Derek also manages the uplifting trance label Emergent Skies under the Emergent Music brand.
