I have gone by many names throughout the centuries. Watcher, Traveler, The Witness of History. The Achaeans called me Seramedes. But in my homeland, I was called Seratsu.

I was born 3000 years ago in Nippon. As the first humans came to the land, my gaze turned outward. Curious. Against the wishes of my brethren, I set out to see the wide wide world. Watching Humanity grow in number, civilizations rise and fall. I have witnessed the end of the Bronze Age, the Persian expansion, the rise of great men. You could say it never got boring. It wasn't until the early 15th century when a priest, out of some misunderstanding, sealed me in a box. There I would be stuck for 600 or so years until I was finally freed by a curious museum worker.
