Heffron Drive is an American indie pop duo formed by Kendall Schmidt & Dustin Belt, both originally from Kansas. The band was formed in 2008 after Kendall and Dustin met each other by chance and realized they lived on the same street, Heffron Drive, in Burbank, California. After a brief stint as a band together, Kendall joined Big Time Rush as Kendall Knight; Dustin was later hired as the touring guitarist. In May 2013, BTR went on hiatus and Heffron Drive was revived.
Kendall's vocals infuse Heffron Drive with an unforgettable sound. The duo are successful independent music powerhouses in an otherwise establishment world.
