Hi I'm TheScientist on RYM. Also known as Freewave offsite. I'm a genre nerd, blogger, chronic lister, former Denver dj, and music historian.

I am still running the RYM Ultimate Box Set project. It is a group project by users to highlight not only the essential artists for every genre, but albums, and even suggested tracks. It has over 1,550 + Genre Sets, 2,260+ Discs Worth, and is 16+ years running. You'll see loads of these playlists on Youtube and Spotify and of course all over RYM.
