Southern Transcon Model Railroad

Description

A large, private model railroad project building an HO scale layout of the ATSF/BNSF Southern Transcon mainline. The layout era is 1990-2006, modeling Willow Springs IL through Vaughn, NM, with an emphasis in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. The layout space is 40x100', with a 1,700' Mainline run (27-scale miles). Our DCC setup is ESU Ecos, with RR&Co command & control software. Signalling and block detection with Digitrax modules. Operations tracked by Traintraxx & JMRI.
