In 2018, I founded News Not Noise. After spending 17 years working in TV news, I learned that model is really good at generating anxiety and ratings, but there’s a big audience that wants news told differently. So I launched on Instagram to break down major events with context and clarity, and identify the noise you can ignore. Today it has grown into a super-engaged community of like-valued people across multiple platforms.

An Emmy, Peabody, and Gracie Award-winning political correspondent. CNN's Chief White House Correspondent during the Obama years. Covered the Bush White House at ABC News, 2004-2007. Worked at MSNBC during its more conservative days. I published my first novel, Savage News, in 2019.
