Welcome to MIMSY'S GARDEN!

2018-19 was my first year to have an in-ground garden. I even obtained my state's Master Gardener certification.

My name is Anna, however, granddaughters & friends call me Mimsy or Mims (thus- Mimsy’s Garden).
I’m in SE Mississippi-Zone 8a.
Our forever home is on 6.75 acres we call "PoorBoy Homestead".

At this time, we have a small scale organic heirloom & hybrid vegetable plant start business and we are learning to do a little market gardening as well. It's all part of a five year plan.

A nurse since '92, I'm my mother & father in law’s 24/7 caretaker. I refer to them as my 2PatientCrew.

I grow most of our vegetables to improve our health and to leave our broken food system.

My motto is "Any step forward IS A STEP FORWARD"!
I’m just doing what I can, as I can, with what I can!

I hope to teach you a few things I've learned along the way as well.
