By exchanging the art of medicine for the medicine of art O+ (pronounced O Positive) empowers communities to take control of their collective wellbeing.
O+ Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization headquartered in Kingston, N.Y. that is dedicated to enhancing community well-being by connecting musicians, artists and health & wellness providers in weekend-long celebrations. In 2010, the first O+ Festival was celebrated in Kingston, N.Y., which continues to host 3 days of art, music and wellness every October. Today, chapters of O+ across the country host annual festivals that integrate art and wellness; musicians play concerts and artists gift the host city with murals and installations while health and wellness providers donate their services to the creative participants. The general public via donation gets all-access wristbands to view and interact with the art, hear the bands play and participate in a variety of wellness classes and modalities.
