Name

Sammy McCormack

Description

Religiously watching MTV growing up, Sammy has always been deeply invested in the world of music, film and live show. But as a kid from Adelaide, Australia, that world felt impossibly far away. He wanted to learn everything he could from the great artists he watched, then one day build his own world - one that entertained, inspired and offered others the same escapism he desperately craved.

So, at twelve years old, he got to work. First came a streetwear brand, which he successfully ran for ten years. Then an Architecture degree, where he learned to literally build worlds. Now, he brings those experiences together through his weekly video series - deconstructing iconic records to learn what makes a great song great.

Something he intends to put to good use himself...

Being recognised by the likes of Kanye West's creative team, he's already making waves - but as far as Sammy is concerned, he’s only just getting started!
