Description

TLDR: I like swords and I like ideas and I like people.

I'm one of the leading instructors in Historical European Martial Arts, having taught in over 20 countries over the last decade or so. I was also one of the most successful tournament fencer in the world having won over 40 international competitions in several categories in full contact steel weapon fights since 2008. In many ways I was there from the start, or almost the start of the Historical Fencing revival and I was definitely at the heart of it for well over a decade. I've done a lot of "firsts" for the Art, both sword in hand and as a community leader.

I love the motions mostly, the beauty of it, and how we can express ourselves through fencing. This Art is a prism through which I see the universe. I love the people I've met.
