I’m Andrew Shenton, a UK-based railway photographer passionate about trains. Inspired by my dad’s love of railways, I grew up consumed by everything British Rail during the 1970s and early 80s. Today, I channel that enthusiasm into capturing creative and striking images of trains in their environments.

Through my photography, I aim to tell stories—going beyond traditional train shots to highlight railways in creative compositions using landscapes, and light. I’m a proud member of the Flickr 1Z10 Photography Group and the Phoenix Railway Photographic Circle, collaborating with like-minded creatives who share a drive to push the boundaries of railway photography.
