I gather dryer lint, put it in fiber egg cartons and use them to start the wood stove in the morning.

To make this more powerful, I would try to find waxed cardboard at a grocery store. They'll give them to you! We give Boxes away all the time. Produce departments will have them. Meat and Seafood will too but the smell will carry.
