Description

you is the solo project of musician and composer Emanuele Tabarrini, born in 2020 with the release of his debut EP To Believe and Suffer. In 2023, he released his second work, A Shred of Bliss, accompanied by a promotional mini-tour across Italy, with dates at festivals, clubs, and as an opening act for bigger artists such as Rose Villain, Marlene Kuntz, Paolo Benvegnù, Nico Arezzo, Gaia Banfi, Studio Murena and others.

On December 12, 2025, the first part of the third recording project Sound of Rising (Vol. I) was released, preceded by the two singles Getting Deeper, released on June 27th, 2025, and Nosebleed, Skinned Knees, released on September 26th, 2025.

you’s music is defined by an acoustic sound and English lyrics, rooted in emo and grunge, and enriched with alternative, progressive, and jazz influences. The atmosphere is melancholic and dreamlike, yet capable of shifting towards more energetic tones thanks to the trio formation with bass and drums.
