Chris Lam Sam has specialised in making fun ‘forever-memories’ of childhood for more than 20 years! He has read his stories and performed his funny songs in schools, early childhood centres, libraries, and theatres around the globe.

Chris is a registered Primary School Teacher in New Zealand, a qualified composer, and published picture book author with the UK’s TATE Museums. He has worked regularly as the young person’s Master of Ceremonies for the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra since 2016, and has also hosted family concerts for the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Te Papa Tongarewa: The Museum of New Zealand, the Jim Henson Legacy, and Sesame Street.
