A long time animal lover and frequent traveler to the islands of the Bahamas led us to the creation of Potcake Collars. During our travels to the islands, we became aware of the plight of the Potcake. Potcakes are indigenous dogs of the Bahamas and are in need of help. We try to expose the struggles of Potcakes and encourage people to help anyway they can through Potcake foundations that are linked on our home page.

After years of traveling back and forth from South Florida to the Bahamas, we discovered a need for tropical dog wear. In the spirit of the Potcake, we have created a unique line of dog collars and bandanas with that island feel. We always looked good in our Hawaiian shirts, flip flops, and sun dresses. We also thought our dogs needed to be dressed in that island spirit as well.
