Description

In The Blind is a dynamic new band of East Coast Metal veterans, answering the call of the void with a heavy message of cosmic proportions. Led by Jasan Stepp, the guitarist of cult metal band Dog Fashion Disco, In The Blind also features Bill Gaal (Nothingface) on bass, Josh Matthew (Megosh) vocals and John Ensminger (also of Dog Fashion Disco) on drums. The band uses subtle realism along with direct analogies in its lyrics, drawing attention to a variety of social and community issues in their hometown of Baltimore. Electronic elements and slight Alternative aura add an insightful twist that’s well-suited to the Active Rock world. Triumphant and melodic choruses float over intricacies and odd rhythms, occasionally informed by the eclectic music these individuals have created in the past. In The Blind is influenced by Refused, Mastodon, and Coheed and Cambria.
