Strangely enough, Vampires Suck and Meet the Spartans are probably the most structured Seltzerberg movies after Spy Hard. They are the very rare exceptions that show they actually watched the movie they’re spoofing instead of just the trailers (which they were known to do).

The perfume is that bad... that's the joke.

While a lot of the 2000s parody films outside of the first 4 Scary Movie are pretty lame, I do think Superhero Movie is actually kinda neat. Feels like they understood why Scary Movie worked since while it does have a ton of references, they actually add to the story which is just a parody of the first Spider-Man film, instead of them basically being the story.

I think the reason the Latina maid is in so many is because Paranormal Activity 2 had a maid who said there was evil in their house

The fact that Kung Fu Hustle is never mentioned when people list off great parody movies makes me sad. That film is a classic.
