Formerly, this channel was named for the way one of my neighbors once characterized me - not to my face, but in conversation with another neighbor. It got back to me, and I found it hilarious. He made reference to "that old atheist codger who lives down the street", so The Atheist Codger became my YouTube handle.

It's not really representative of most of what I do here, however, so I'll just fly under my own name for a while.
