Tamariki Tākaro (Kids Play) is a whānau (family) friendly channel in te reo Māori – we make toy videos, surprise egg openings, unboxings and blind bag openings for kōhanga (pre-school) and kura (school) aged tamariki (children).

We are a Māori whānau living in New Zealand. We try to create a te reo Māori speaking environment in our home for our tamariki. Our three year old kōtiro (girl) loves watching toy channels on YouTube. However, we haven’t been able to find these types of videos for her in te reo Māori. So our whānau have made our own videos for her and we’ve decided to share them with you here.

We hope you enjoy watching them as much as we have enjoyed creating them!
